Senior Sales Manager to generate new sales and help strengthen its position as a leading provider of Digital Marketing Services. The successful candidate will thrive on pressure, be able to juggle multiple tasks, meet targets and play an important role in the business. This role will involve supporting the General Manager (Sales) in the growth of sales/revenue.

 

This position is wholly focused on revenue predominantly through the effectiveness of outbound sales strategies with an element of inbound sales. There will be a strong emphasis on establishing and improving our close rates for enquiries, nurturing clients and building relationships to encourage repeat sales, pro-active growth of lead volumes from non-inbound activity and growth of sales.

 

The SM will be responsible for overseeing all assigned proposals, that they are dealt with in a timely manner, and that all proposals are both suitable for clients’ requirements and commercially sound for the company. This will involve both the production of high quality custom pitch and proposal documents and often when required, pitching face to face.

Responsibilities

·        Ensure sales targets are met on a monthly and annual basis

·        Takes responsibility for developing own knowledge of related disciplines

·        Maintain your own sales figures so that it is clear how you are performing vs targets at all times.

·        Professionally manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to prospecting, arranging meetings, preparing proposals and presentations, negotiating, closing and handing over to the operations team

·        Build, manage and maintain a substantial pipeline and ensure that the pipeline activity is routinely logged, actions and sales process milestones with potential clients and opportunities

·        Manage all relevant inbound inquiries, understand client requirements and quote accurately on a solution that best suits their needs

·        Present services to potential clients through telephone calls, emails and both online and face to face meetings

·        Work with the General Manager (Sales) to identify and develop an expansion plan into new markets

·        Stay abreast of industry trends and opportunities through market industry and research

·        Through networking and LinkedIn make contact and develop relationships with potential clients to ensure a regular flow of opportunities.

·        Monitor competitor activity and pricing

Experience Required

·        Experience in a business development role with a focus on digital marketing

·        You will be from perhaps a Google or digital marketing agency background

·        A passion for all things digital

·        A proven track record in sales.

·        Analytically minded

·        Broad industry experience is essential

·        Pro-active to self-learn about the types of services that provides such as Media, Content, Development etc.

·        Self-motivated to achieve and exceed targets
