As a Great opportunity for BDM role(Retail Sales) in a giant freight forwarding company-Hyderabad/Chennai your responsibilities include the following

Job Description:

·         Generating business for both Air/Sea freight

·         Achieve set individual target & of branch.

·         Keep positive frame of mind and help in maintaining working environment of branch.

·         Ensure that customer are provided credit after proper verification.

·         Responsibility of collection of payment from of credit customer. Maintain & develop relationship with customers and help in enhancing business growth.

·         Any other task assigned by the management

 

  DETAILED DESCRIPTION

 Key activities Sales administration

·         Process Inquiries for Air & Sea Freight Shipments (Air & Sea freight –Origin & Destination charges)

·         Preparation of Quotations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

·         Report Sales activity into the Sales force.

·         Maintain Sales Visit Plan.

·         Pursue activities to achieve set KPI’s.

·         Any other task assigned by the management

·         Build Business relations with Prospects & Existing customers by regular client visits.

·         Follow-up on Quotations and obtain customer feedback.

·         Negotiate and Close deals.-Achieve set individual target set by management.

·          Generate Sales leads for Overseas Branches

·         To work towards achieving set Sales KPI’s of the Branch.

·         To jointly work with the team in Trade lane development.

·         To perform regular market surveys and gauge the market pulse and keep abreast with the moves of the Competition.

·         To collect regular feedback from Customers to gauge Customer delight and effect improvement wherever necessary

                                                                                

SKILL SETS & QUALIFICATIONS

Key capabilities-  Market knowledge of Logistics industry.

·         Strong Selling and communication skills

·         Should be a team person with excellent interpersonal skills.

·         Should be Computer Savvy.

·         Should have Relative strengths in Selling Import /Export Air and Sea Freight Cargo

Expected years of experience

Minimum 5 years of Experience in Freight forwarding Industry.

Educational Qualifications

Should be a minimum Graduate and Preferably with a MBA
