Job Description
As a Regional Sales Manager – Veterinary – Chennai covering South your responsibilities include the following

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCES

 

Education:

Should be graduate in Veterinary or Agriculture or Biology of a reputed college

 

Experience:

7+ years (Minimum 2 years as Regional Sales Manager Livestock division of  Veterinary Pharma  in South India from a reputed ortanisation

 

Age : Preferably below 40 years

 

Other Qualifications:

•       Willing to travel across South India.

•       Fluent in English/Hindi – Regional languages will be a plus.

•       Strong leadership qualities.

•       Excellent communication skills, Soft Skills and Presentation skills

•       Proven track record as Regional Head.

POSITION OBJECTIVES

 

•       The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) should be incharge of  Sales for entire South India Operations.

•       Responsible for Consolidating the Tamil Nadu Operation to a profitable proposition by directing, guiding and developing the ASM & the VSO’s

•       Hire ASM / VSO’s for AP/Telungana/Kerala and complete the expansion program  by end of 2017.

•       Achieve the Set Sales and Collection targets on all states.

•       Must have very good contacts and reputation in the South Indian Veterinary market.

JOB  RESPONSIBILITIES

•       To manage all the territotires in South India by Directing and guiding the ASM’s and VSO’s.

•       Oversee all activities pertaining to his Region & guide / mentor the team to maintain discipline, decency and decorum of doing business with the customers

•       Devise effective Sales Startegy to Pull and Push the sales in the region

•       Maintain business revenue sales and efficienct collections.

•       Appoint efficient Stockiest and moniter their performance through ASM’s & VSO’s

•       Track competitor activity and update to Product development and marketing team.

•       Monthly sales planning & forecasting for all regions.

•       Devise a strategy for active participation in the Institutuional Business

•       Responsible for all data entries made in Sales force automation software.

•       Organize Launch meet events on behalf of BP  Pharma for introducing new products/expanding to new area.

•       Organize technical meet events on behalf of BP Pharma to manage relationship with Veterinarians.

•       Other jobs pertaining to sales as and when required by the management.

•       Prepare and provide the Rolling Sales Plan for South India

•       Prepare performance appraisal for the ASM.
